Zainteresowania naukowe
Do moich głównych zainteresowań naukowych należą zmiany klimatu w przeszłości Ziemi i geozagrożenia, a także ich zapis w osadach jeziornych. Po stażu naukowym w Uniwerysity of New Brunswick (Kanada) w 2020 r. prowadzone przeze mnie badania koncentrują się w dużej mierze na rozpoznaniu wpływu ekstremalnych zalewów morskich na ekosystemy jezior przybrzeżnych. W 2024 r. dołączyłem do grona stypendystów programu Bekkera. W ramach stypendium realizowany będzie jego staż naukowy na Univeristy of Bremen (Niemcy), gdzie będę się zajmował odczytywaniem zapisu tzw. zim wulkanicznych z rocznie laminowanych osadów jeziornych.
